Alessia Pope (she/her/hers) was born in Santa Cruz, CA in 1990. She received her BA in Design from The University of California, Davis in 2012. Alessia has been exploring the concepts of physical/ mental space, pure consciousness, the waking/ dream state and saudade in her artistic practice for more than a decade. Based in San Francisco, Alessia is an emerging interdisciplinary conceptual artist working primarily with painting, 2D media, ceramics and light. Her admiration for craft and process is demonstrated by her dedication to create artworks with the least amount of environmental and ecological impact.
